Detailed information
The present main hall of Nishikoori Shrine is said to have been built in 1363. The main hall, which was designated as an Important Cultural Property in 1950, has a hipped roof with a chidori hafu (dormer and plover gable) and a kara hafu (undulating gable).
Two auxiliary shrines were also designated as Important Cultural Properties in 1969.
When the annual autumn festival is held on the second Saturday of October, nine danjiri floats from the neighboring areas enter the shrine to parade through the precincts and devote the niwaka play.
